How It Works
Confetti is v1rtopia's launch ceremony — staff trigger it to open a new season or map. It has two halves: a cinematic that plays out in the world, and the grace period it detonates into.
You don't have to do anything to take part — wherever you are on the server, the moment the shards merge you'll be launched into the sky, drift safely down, and land into a protected truce while the world border expands to make room for everyone.
The Cinematic
The Pulse
A 25×25 field of pulsing purple particles blooms under the summoner's feet, breathing in and out.
The Rising Ring
A ring of shards — every shard texture on the server — rises up through the ground and floats 3.5 blocks into the air around the pulse.
The Spin
The ring begins to turn, spinning faster and faster as the shards orbit the centre.
The Levitation
The spin stops dead — and the shards hang there, gently drifting up and down in place.
The Merge
All at once the shards rush together into the centre, 5 blocks up, and detonate in a burst of colourful confetti.
The Grace Period
The instant the shards merge, the season begins — and for the next 30 minutes the server is under a grace period. It's your window to spread out, settle in and gear up before the fighting starts.
Launched Skyward
The blast flings every player high into the air — and grants Feather Falling so you drift safely back down instead of taking the fall.
The World Expands
The world border grows outward to 2,500 × 2,500 blocks over 75 seconds — new land to settle as the season begins.
No PvP
For the full grace, PvP is switched off — melee, projectiles and shard abilities alike can't hurt another player. A true truce.
Fed & Protected
Everyone is kept full on Saturation, and mobs leave players alone — no hunger, no ambushes while you settle in.
30-Minute Timer
A server-wide boss bar counts the grace down. When it hits zero the truce lifts, PvP comes back on, and the season is on.
The world-border expansion is permanent — it stays even after the grace ends.
Admin Commands

| /confetti reload | Reload config.yml and messages.yml. |
